Yes, and as I've mentioned on my review thread of it I ended up returning it for its short battery life among other things, and decided to go with a Dell because I had a $750 off coupon which made it actually cheaper than cyberpower.

Pentium 1 294 MZT

O_O

80386SX NEC Powermate 20MHz with 2MB RAM and 256K VRAM

I'm a proud owner of Windows 1.0.

I actually have it backed up on a floppy somewhere. It is a terrible Operating System by today's standards, though I imagine it was quite a hit when it was new!

I was wondering whether my socket 754 was worth it. Would you go for a Gigabyte mobo with nForce 3 (socket 939) for an extra dollar or stick with a 754 with a VIA chipset?

Balance 19" TFT LCD
Intel Celeron D 2.6 GHz, 256Kb Cache, 533MHz FSB, Socket 478
512 MB DDR-400 RAM
Hitachi 80.0 GB, 7200 RPM hard drive
64Mb/32Mb 3D Video Accelerator (Integrated)
Sony 52x32x52-16A DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Drive (black)
10/100 Network Card (Integrated)
Black Mini-Mid Tower Case, 400 Watt PS

It's a shame I don't have any idea what most of it means, but I do know it gets the job done. (Much as people seem to dislike celerons, I don't do any gaming and I hear that's what they're worst for. And anyhow, my budget was quite limited and for this. I ended up paying $350 for the computer plus another $300 for the monitor and another $60 or so combined in tax and shipping.)

I doubt it, since I don't remember anyone using Windows until 3.1. It was probably just seen as a pathetic attempt to immitate Macs at the time, and nothing to draw anyone away from DOS.
