Greetings folks,
I have a small group of dedicated xbox live dirty [as in crash, destroy, fender benders, win at all costs] racing enthusiasts that I want to start a limited user discussion forum for. I am looking for a host that can support the following forum software features:
System requirements to install YaBB :
YaBB is the software I am looking at http://www.yabbforum.com/ and wonder if anyone has experience with this and what it takes to get it up and running in terms of ftp upload etc. It doesn't mention any requirements for mysql etc, but requirements can be viewed here http://www.yabbforum.com/requirements.php
I have no idea what say 20 users would equate to in mb traffic or space but I would not imagine that it would be excessive by any means. There will be no need to host any other files or ftp space / traffic. No uploaded avatars or signature pics would be required so traffic would simply be text based for most part.
Subdomain could be something like fenderbenders.yourhost.whatever
We would be most willing to host ads / sponsor links in return for hosting.
Might I suggest that hosting services check this link http://www.yabbforum.com/community/YaBB.pl?num=1104961763
for perhaps continued support of YaBB Forum Software.
Best regards,
Fin
