remember when...

No kidding. Meow, Dusty, syd, Owen, Hoth...Gayo posting regularly...a lot of old faces for sure. I miss Dusty a lot as well. I haven't visited that longest thread since he left.

syd stuck around for a couple of years after that issue though, so that's not why she left. I just remember her moving to Florida, and then she stopped posting. You know how Floridians are with computers :p

Speaking of old members...whatever happened to Coolin? Mandrake? rockergrrl? keith?

Yeah, I noticed that. I think I got my years mixed up. :confused2 She did say she was leaving shortly after that, though it seems she was around a while longer.

I think rockergrrl is busy raising her kid(s) (among other things, I'd assume). Some people move on... some of us can't. :p
 
I want to reminisce too.

This place was a lot of fun for me back in the day... I was such a different person back then... so idealistic. That idealism tranferred into so many long debates with GC and some short one with keith about... well who knows, seems like it had something to do with Columbia or something.

Remember the collective 'what?' this forum raised when YUPAPA came along? Talk about wierd.

Remember Lucifer? What a cool dude (IIRC).

Oh man, Giancarlo. I hope that you come to this forum and search for your name and come to this post. Here is what I have to say to you... Hope you grew up too.

This is the thread concerning the avatar debate, where I fought for your rights with the stupidest, most childish avatar known to man, that was several computers ago and it is gone for sure now. Also, lucifer's avatar in question was a picture of GC with glowing eyes and horns. That was the most awesome avatar ever.

bumpin this sucka after another long time away from fws. was checking out my old websites through the Internet Archive and got in a nostalgic mood. fws had some really helpful ppl on the boards. looks like i was a thread killer back then too. fws old layout still feels so familiar to me. started posting in high school, circa '98. good times. would visit fws during my typing class. the good ol days of threaded message boards. back when: TOPIC: blah blah -nt-. back when free CGI-BIN = the holy grail
