phpBB2 and site integration

okay I have a small scale website... www.myjunoon.com

there is a downloads area maintained by a nifty php program called phpfileDB and of course the forum is phpBB2

What I am trying to do is make the downloads available only to my forum users, how would I go on implement that? Can I create page within phpBB2 to include phpFileDB ? I have seen people integrated their whole site with phpBB.

Any help or direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

try the external group authorization mod:
http://www.phpbb.com/mods/downloads/index.php?t=sub_pages&cat=7

it'd just need a bit of modifying to work with all members groups instead of just one at a time, but it's pretty much exactly what you're looking for. just include it in any page you only want forums members to be able to access, and they'll need to be logged into the forum before viewing it.
