Hello all,

I am in need of some space to be used to house my clients CPanel backups. I bought a small reseller package to house them at superhosterz.com, but it seems they have disappeared already!

The backups will be transferred using remote FTP, nightly.

So, here is my request:

5GB Disc Space (I'm using about 1gb now, but I want to have plenty of space)
30-50gb bandwidth
No Control Panel Needed
FTP Access is a must!

And here are my requirements:
Host MUST be in business 1 year or more with proof of time in business
Host MUST have 99.9% uptime
Host MUST have good support
Host MUST be over 21 yrs old ( I do not want to deal with children)

Budget: Because this is only going to be for storing backups, I don't think it should be that much. I would place my budget between $2.50 - $10.00 a month. Please post your offers and include info about your company (time in business, uptime proof, etc.)

Thanks

I can understand what happened to you when SuperHosterz went down and for your info It won't up again I know its owner he is a 16 year old person.

However, if you want, you can host your backups at my company. Please go to www.graffitinetwork.in/client/order.php
We've qualified your all requirements.

I didn't figure it would be back, and I'm glad I didn't pay much for it! Thats what happens when kids are able to get a reseller account, they scam everyone and it gives the decent hosts like myself, a bad name!

[DWH]Yuxuan, you said in the PM that you (DigitalWorldHost.com) had been in business for 2 and a half years. When I did a whois on your domain it said it was registered on Sept. 18th 2007, which is also the same time you joined this forum. Care to explain?

Please, if you do not meet my requirements, DO NOT post an offer! I will check everything on my own to be sure it meets my requirements, so if you're not telling the truth I will find out. So, don't waste my time or yours!

Anyway, thanks for your offer, please keep them coming!

How long have you been in business, and please be honest. That [DWH]Yuxuan guy from DigitalWorldHost.com tried to BS me saying he had been in business for 2+ years, which was obviously not the case.

Decker, yes they do, but it is a lot more pricey than if I could find a decent shared account to house them on. It's just backups after all, it doesn't have to be anything special.

I am not going to tell you that our hosting company has been established long enough like any other hosting company. Our hosting company is less than a year, but we have been work with several old and popular hosting company more than 6 years. Anyway, I retract my offer above and good luck finding what you want. You should go to webhostingtalk.com sometimes.

DWH is in business with over 2 years. I first hosted Tang back in early 06 on DanEthicalServices.

5 GB of Disc Space
50 GB of Data Transfer
No Control Panel
24/7 FTP Access

Deise Host has been in business since December 2006 and comes with a Guaranteed 99.9% Uptime or your money back within the first 30 Days.
Payment via PayPal.Com

We could do 5gb space and 50gb bandwidth for $9.95 a month, we have been hosting for well over 2 years. Custom is always an option.

I don't know what whois you are using but if you take a look at http://whois.domaintools.com/digitalworldhost.com it says that the domain name was created in Sept. of 2005. [EDIT: I took a look at whois.net and it does say that the domain has only been registered since 2007...that's weird, I'll get in contact with netfirms]

Thanks Dan =) +rep. [EDIT: can't give rep again so soon hehe but I'll get to it]

PS. And I can provide you with screen shots of my billing information from netfirms (where I bought the domain) if you do not believe that DWH has been in business since Sept of 2005. And here's some more proof --> http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.digitalworldhost.com

No, I was not BSing you, and I have already sent you a reply explaining the case. As for why that certain WHOIS registry declared the time of the creation of our domain name to be so late, I'm not really sure, but as you can see here:
http://whois.domaintools.com/digitalworldhost.com
here:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://digitalworldhost.com
and here:
http://www.webhostingstuff.com/uptime/DigitalWorldHost.html
I was speaking the truth.

My only guess as to why this might have happened might be Netfirms like to reset it from time to time?

Please, it is very insulting to be accused of being a liar. I don't want to be accused of being one, and I'm sure neither do you. However, you do raise an interesting question, WHY did my creation date change?

Hope that, once again, answered your concerns.

Regards,
Yuxuan

*EDIT* Thanks to both Dan and Tang for vouching! +reps!

[DWH]Yuxuan, I apologize for the comment. After seeing the creation date at whois.net, I assumed you were just another kiddie host trying to slip one past somebody. Again, I apologize for that!

Mods, you may close this thread, I have found a host.

Thanks for your offers everyone!

Just before Dan or another mod closes this. I want to accept your apology. I do believe everyone makes mistakes.

I wish you all the best with your new host, and I hope you might consider us in the future!

Regards,
Yuxuan
