managed wordpress hosting

Looking to match this please - not happy with current service

I have a buddy who needed to switch hosts only to go to the worst hosting ever.
Today was the opening of his site and there are nothing but server errors constantly.This has been going on for a week now.
They SAY they have emergency service by phone but all it is is an answering machine.I could go on and on but what I need here is a match so that a switch can be made AGAIN if the host cannot guarantee 99.9% uptime as it says it does.JUST BAD HOSTING

PRICE - $16.95 per month
SPACE - 20gig
BANDWIDTH - 120gig
EMAIL ACCOUNTS - 20,000
All the goodies needed like php cgi-bin MYSQL comes with 25
Here is the host http://www.canaca.com/virtual.html the plan he has is the GOLD plan.

If anyone can come close to that package,you will have a customer for LIFE.This is not some fly by night site that will stop after a few years.This guy is dedicated to his content and his members.This is NOT a porn site,but a fan site that has a huge amount of members daily.

Please list if you can come close to the GOLD plan in the link above.

Its very hard for a host to offer that much space and bandwidth for such a low price if they wanted to provide a good and reliable uptime. You might want to tell your buddy to reconsider the pricing on his plan or reconsider the specs of his hosting plan since most people don't really use that much space /bandwidth. Good luck to your buddy in finding a new host and if he needs any help, feel free to contact us :)
 
Well I believe LCR Hosting is with Levi1.com or so I hear they have moved. Yet they havn't replied where they have moved too..
 
Never_pay it is not coincidence that you had bad experience with a host who offers that for that price...
It's time that people start learning they'll need to spend some more money if they want to prevent bad experiences.
 
Regardless of price and options,when someone has a hosting business and they clearly state
Reliable 99.9 % uptime
1-800 emergency support
They better mean it.
This so called emergency support is nothing more than an answering machine and an email 12hrs later.

Its very hard for a host to offer that much space and bandwidth for such a low price if they wanted to provide a good and reliable uptime. You might want to tell your buddy to reconsider the pricing on his plan or reconsider the specs of his hosting plan since most people don't really use that much space /bandwidth.

I dont think telling the host he will pay more will solve error issues and poor support.If it does,that is a shame.
The GOLD plan is the ONLY top plan they have,no going further.

As for the space and bandwidth.It will get used,trust me.Nothing illegal or anything,but it is a very popular site with alot of traffic and content.

I dont mean to come off rude,so please dont take it that way.

I will be taking a look at LCR

Dont Go With Vespacious, They Prices Are Too Good To Be True - I Went Wit Them., And There Support Is Awful, I Had A Site, And There Nameservers Wouldnt Work, For Bout 5 Days, So Iasked If I Cud Have Some Different Nameservers, They Said No, And I Said, Can I Have A Refund, No ... So Dont Go With Them
 
God just cos one person has had a problem with the compnay doesn't give them a bad reputation, u made your feelings quite clear in your other post. Out of god knows how many people hosted by vespacious you had a problem and are tellin people not to choose him

Dear Ex Client,

What you are saying is absolutely not correct, our support is good and we have friendly staff, there has been only one refund today of $3.99. I have been talking to our MSN support guy, and he told me he asked you to contact namecheap , because the nameservers : ns1.vespaservice.biz and ns2.vespaservice.biz work for all our other clients. And what you are saying about the refund , dont lie here! We did refund you , the MSN member emailed the sales and within 5 minutes they refunded you. We dont want clients like you , we have a very good relationship with all of our clients , so they are all happy with the service we provide , we constantly invest in new servers to guarantee the clients a smooth and fast service, and even here client's posted that our support is good and VERY fast , I also asked if you had any issue's and he told me you had no questions at all , so how can you know that our support is "terrible"?. What can we do about your "nameserver" problem , if it works for all other 299 clients? Right, nothing except asking you to contact your registar... That's the only solution. So dont say things that are not correct, because we refunded you and we have always been friendly to you. And about our prices, I dont think we are cheap , we are "expensive" if you compaire us with a lot of other host's , well I suggest you to go with one of them and see how good their support is!. We are one of the host's that GUARANTEE a free month when there is no 99.99% uptime (new since august , because of the ddos attacks we had on our servers) We are here for almost one year (next month ;)) now , so we know how the market works!.
