If you have given 1 billion $$$$????

1 billion dollars is already a lot more than I'd need...

Money for College
Money for a House
Money for my Parents and Family

Some money to turn the 50+ person LAN parties that my friends and I throw about 3-4 times a year into something...a little beter... :p (3 or 4 projectors, though we already have one, plenty of Bawls, Better switches, larger building, more outlets, less surges, cool lighting, some other stuff)

I figure I've got about 999-998 million left...

...I dunno...

I guess donate a lot to my church, and...do something with the rest...

I personally would like to keep going for my job as a programmer in the gaming industry...I'm only 16 right now, but I think it'd be a fun job. Just kinda...sitting around, doing nothign for the next 60+ years of my life would suck. I'd like to get experienced with things in the real world (not the show, though I'm sure with 1 billion dollars I could get on that show, or own it) and live like a pretty normal person. It'd suck to be a rich famous guy who flaunts his money all around.
 
i'd buy as many slabs of beer as possible then build a house out of it. then drink all the beer with a few mates until its all gone. besides that i don't know.

Spend as much as I can on cars/luxury etc. and change the rest to 5$ bills and just give it out to people.

I would umm let's see buy the best computer on the market build a 40 million dollor house and put the rest in the bank and stock market ...
 
i guess the best example of using a billion dollars goes to the old homeless guy from The Simpons who built a gold mansion, a rocket car and then just sat around his home in a old fashioned top hat and coat style.

I'd get cosmetic labiaplasty, and spend the rest on beads and trinkets to give to the indians.
 
I'd lay Fibre To The Home everywhere in Australia, get rid of Telstra so we all get decent broadband. Umm, keep a few million to play with, and invest the rest :).
 
I'd spend money on
(a) my family - new house, new car, etc
(b) myself - buy anything worthy for myself
(c) professional career - invest money in some research or innovation
(d) give the rest out
 
I'm sure many of you have heard of the VirginiaTech Supercomputer, made up of 1,100 PowerMac G5s, now, how many G5's can we get for $1,000,000,000
