So does the gamecube, and they cost less than the games nowadays.
Unfortunately, I would have to make room for my Gamecube at home, I have no room with all my games for the PS2/PSX around my PS2.

The problems go beyond Live. You would not believe how many xbox and xbox360 systems are being sent back once they reach the age of about 1 years old. I definitely recommend the Wii over these pieces of junk.
Mine is yet to give me any problems whatsoever, and it's been a year+ since I purchased it.The Wii is if you want to be a child. The Xbox 360 is if you want to be an adult.
I have an original Xbox 360 with no problems.

I just hate the presumption that a game has to have a certain kind of graphic, be grim/violent/sexual/whatever to be considered "adult". Creativity shouldn't = automatic assumption of childishness. If you're going to assume that, I'm going to assume that Wii is for people who have friends and Xbox/Ps3 are for people who don't. Same line of thinking?
As for saying 'true gamers don't stick to one console' etc.. Well, I've tried every console on the market actually quite extensively, and GC/Wii/DS have always won hands down. I do have a really unhealthy WoW addiction too though .

I don't really get the creativity equaling childishness part, aren't all games creative regardless of genre? The no friends analogy makes even less sense, care to explain?
