I wouldnt touch the computer when drunk
last night I've managed to lock myself out of my second hard disk. Setting the last partition on that disk to active was not such a good idea after all.
Now my pc will only boot up if I unplug the second drive

I use my PC quite a lot, but I'm no way obsessed with it :) I still go to college, socialise with friends etc.

Way too many.

When I have class that's 6 hours per day on the computer already. Then with the working, reading the newspaper (it's online in PDF form now... so much for getting it delivered ), checking other online news/sports, forums, and of course gaming, 12 to even 15 isn't uncommon on some days.

If you include TV/DVD watching as computer time since that's where I watch most of it, the number could grow by an hour or two.

Since summer is near and the last day of the semester for me is Monday, my computer use should be drastically reducing.

If I count using my laptop for school that ads around 4 hours a day. I only counted the usage I use after school

I Spend Up to 6 Hours (Sometimes)
Sometimes i don't want to see my Comp (I HATE IT :D )
Well Was a Day (on april after easter) When i have spend more than 12 Hours (Was horrible to be honest...)

10 + plus for me as well. I've really been trying to cut back since I've noticed that my body feels like crap at times now. I've been working out an hour a day, walking with the wifey and kids etc... It really is good to get away from the virtual world.

And we're supposed to take advice from a woman who looks like this?

FOR OVER 15 YEARS Dr. Orzack, a licensed clinical psychologist, has treated addictive behaviors at McLean Hospital, where she is founder and coordinator of the Computer Addiction Service and a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty. She is also a faculty member of the Cognitive Therapy Program, and in private practice in Newton Centre, Massachusetts. In addition she has studied recreational drug use and thinks that inappropriate computer use is similar. Her sense is that we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg.

I'm thinking so.
