Hello Everyone, I'm Looking For Free Hosting

Hello everyone. :)

I've been looking around for quite some time now for a good, reliable and free host. I've tried a good number of places, but have either had my site deleted with no warning, or what was offered simply wasn't what I required.

All I need is 50+ megs of space, 5+GB of bandwidth, and preferably no advertisments at all, although if there absolutely has to be, it cannot be in the pop-up or automatically-inserted-top-banner form. I don't need any fancy PHP or MySQL or CGI-BIN and so on.

Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately not. ;) Web1000 has a terrible time with people who aren't in the United States, and while I generally don't have a problem accessing my site (although I have had before), a lot of European people end up with porno 404 redirects, or clicktosearch redirects.

I should've probably mentioned that I don't have my own domain either, although I can use a uni.cc account.

Freewebs only allows free accounts to have 50 files.
Angeltowns deleted my site without warning or reason.
I'm generally a quiet-type on message boards, and so posting 15 times a month would be difficult for me to do. I'm not particularly fond of posting-just-to-post. ;)

Hehe, I said I'd tried a lot of them. :D

Hey it's not like all freewebspace providers are standing in line to offer 50mb/5gb with no ads. How do you expect them to make money? surely you don't think that you are the only one who would sign up if such a plan was ever offered, and without any ads to compensate... you seem like an intelligent guy, you should understand why your hunt for freewebspace is difficult.

Perhaps if you have a good site that deserves such space, you could submit it to a strict application freewebhost and they would help you out. They usually are flexible and the most reliable freeweb hosts.

I never said no ads, although that's preferable. I just stated no pop-ups or automatically inserted banner-ads. That still leaves room for a lot of options.

Most of the application webhosts don't particularly take an interest in what my site's about, and thus I get denial after denial. I've tried it before. :( I make mods for Morrowind, which is why I need the space/bandwidth. And because Web1000 directs non-USA traffic to 404s, it's not particularly ideal for an international community.

The only game host I know of is RPGplanet. ;) I'm starting to feel like I'm repeating the "no-ads" bit. A preference doesn't equal a demand.

Might. I'm still waiting on a reply, though. I forgot I had sent in there a few days ago. ;)

Also, I'm pretty much aware of what I'm looking for is not likely what I'll get, but rather than so many of the hard-and-fast "rules" a lot of people here seem to be posting, it's more of a general guideline.
