bryonhost1 New Member Aug 1, 2008 #22 Hi! Annoying? Naaa..I use grub to make partitions active. Ask grub for a command line: rootnoverify (hd0,7) makeactive chainloader +1 boot Of course..assuming you want to boot from partition #8. I love gparted. Never, ever trust Winders to partition a drive that you want Linux or Solaris on..it won't let you. Evil, it is..I tell you! >>>Gone are the limits of having all your OS's on drive 1. You can have OS's on drive two as well. I draw the line at 8 partitions..so...that gives you the possibility of 16 different OS setups on one server. Endless fun..I tell you! bryonhost1 New Member Aug 2, 2008 #24 Hi! Aye. Possible. However..I'm not sure why you would want that. The fanciest VPS setup I have ever done was one with one ip..and six apache versions running at the same time..all listening to different ports. I think I just went up: 80,81,82,83,84,85 Six complete separate installs..quite nifty. Buh-ya! Bryon
