I cant seem to find any good free domain hosts with some high bandwidth. I curently use netfirms but my site is getting so popular that it keeps exeeding its bandwidth. Does anyone know any good free domain hosts? looking for at least 3 gigs of bandwidth

A domain name costs minimum $9 a year, a good paid host minimum $ $40 a year (if you are lucky) Just because he can afford a domain name doesn't necessarily mean he can afford paid hosting too. Certainly the way to go, but for some it isn't possible.
 
What is your site about? I might be interested in hosting 3 GB bandwidth in return for my banner at the top of your pages.

I've been surfing the net for a good domain host and found this one: www.lacible.net but it will not let me sign up. Does any one elso now of a free domain host with these requirements?

*1 pop/fowarding email account
*cgi-bin
*2 gigs minimum bandwidth but would prefer 3
*dont care about ads any kind is ok just as long as they aren't huge
*5 megs of webspace
*ftp
thats all, not that much, but cant find any host with all of those.

Well, don't go for hostultra then. I KNOW they would not have e-mail. Search the directory for a host that has domain hosting/email/etc.
 
If you can deal 2.5 gigs bandwith for now I can help you I just had to turn somebody down for free hosting so I have 1 opening just send me an e-mail :)
