Damn those bastards!!!!

Recently i got this spyware, adware, trojan or some crap which pop-up with ads every few seconds. I used Ad-Aware SE and Spybot to remove them and it still has it after restarting Windows 98. How the hell can i remove it without reformating and reinstalling Win98? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Check in your registry and see if there is something that is causing it to start everytime you restart your machine. If you see any keys in there that do not look familiar, then remove them.

First, download HiJack This and post the log here. http://www.download.com/HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html

Second, d/l Microsoft's Anti-Spyware program and run it.

Check into this software. It will show you what items are chosen to start automaticly. It will also give you the option to disable/enable any without physically editing the registry (good for newbies)

I dont think Microsoft has Anti-Spyware software for Win98. I searched around the net and found for XP na Windows 2000. Thanks for the replies.
