I don't really need root access or anything technical. I don't even know what the point of multiple dedicated ip's is, if anyone can explainfor me :):)

The main reason that I need VPS is because I need the ability to send out a massive amount of emails without an annoying rate per hour. I have a large memberbase and need to send occasional emails. But if im only limited to 100 or something it doesn't work. I need a VPS that will allow me to send emails to all of my members, I expect over 10,000 members in a short time.

Also this site will have a lot of flash and such, causing massive bandwidth usage, so I need something that can handle it.

BurstNET is a datacenter which at the moment has a terrible reputation and multiple downtimes.

The point of having multiple IP's can be a few:

1. Nameservers (You need at least 2 IP's for those)
2. SEO - Search engine optimisation (So it gets indexed in the search engine better/faster)
3. Dedicated IP's for sites (Give each site it's own IP so if you do an rDNS lookup then it shows only 1 site, compaired to every site on the server if you are using 1 IP for multiple sites) :)

No, I think that is when they are using load balancers and the www2, www3 etc are hostnames of other servers.

I THINK

Anyway, ip's can be offered as extra's for your customers because they are requested often.

There are lots of uses for ip's :)
