no offense. but i think its all in your mind if you think your gay.

if being gay is inevitable then how come many later on realise that being gay was just a phase to them.

it all in your mind GC! Stop trying to convince yourself that you're gay.

You are gay or not. It isn´t a phase.

Why? Why are you so concerned about me?

Re: rshinji

That's a lot of BS! I would say there are thousandfold more that realize that they have been gay all the time.

It's a choice as little as you can choose what sex you are born with. Due to society's attitude some ppl do all they can to hide it both from others and from themselves.

100% straight!
Yeah? Then why is it important to you what other people are? You don't need to watch, you know. :frown2:

On the matter of choice: Some people say they chose to be gay or bi and had to make a stong effort to no longer be straight. Other people say they were naturally whatever way they are. I'd have to guess a lot of people have strong genetic tendencies in one way or the other, but also a lot of people might be able to change if for some reason they made an effort to. (That would certainly explain people like rshinji mentions who may choose to switch to being straight.) I can't say I understand why someone would want to change from whatever they are, but some people do... Ancient Greece might be a good example, since men there were basically expected by the society to have boyfriends on the side along with their wives.

Everyone is born asexual, like trenz... well, except for a few of the weirder people here who were romantically involved by 1st grade. :confused2

straight somebody like boys if he is a girl or girls if he is a boy

Actually, if he is a girl and he likes boys, he'd be a transsexual. :D

I've honestly never heard anyone say that. Could it be that it's "in" to be gay in some cliques? At least here it is. Some people act gay since they think it's cool but they don't carry it out (=no sex).
But I guess if one is 50/50, it's possible to see it as a choice to go one way or another. :confused2

You've never heard anyone say that they were 100% straight and then just decided one day that they were going to start making an effort to attempt to switch? Well, talk to my sister. ;) I'm not really clear myself on why people would switch, though... probably different for different people again. For some probably it's because they think it's the "in" thing wherever they are, for some it's because it's the "out" thing and they don't want to be normal... and maybe some just can't get a boy/girl friend and so they want to double their selection to have more of a chance. :p

Well, I've heard people suddenly realize that they are gay and suddenly dare to tell others that they are gay, but suddenly decide - no. Should be as a political manifest in the 70's maybe (for girls, that is). :p

I have a couple of online friends who have been heterosexual all their lives, been married had kids and then they *change*. That is something I can't understand at all :confused2
