I have been using it for about a couple weeks now, and the speeds are awesome, uptime is constant, and they don't bitch to me for uploading my techno mp3s that i made for the public. Please list to me all the reasons why this service is not good.

If they realize you are getting Asian traffic they will remove your site, and all your visitors will see "adult" 404 pages.
They also remove sites for "infringing US copyright laws" even before the accoutn has been activated. :mad:
 
All part of their evil plot to capitalize on adult advertising! I bet they'll let you keep your site until it gets lots of hits, which tease web1000 because none of it earns web1000 a penny (since they don't run ads on your pages), then ZAP, your site gets replaced by porno ads!
 
its been great for me too. If you make your site properly you wont have 404's, and hence, no porn ads.

The porn ads also say that web1000 will be kept in business. If i run a free web host, it will be just like web1000, except better.

i would never make something like web1000 they suck ---.
 
Avoid web1000 at all cost...it looks very much like their strategy is to let you keep your site for a while...just to eventually kick you and make $$$ with your traffic.
What can you expect from an adult FWP? Yuk!
 
Yes, instead of saying that they offer "unlimited bandwidth," they should instead say, "Participate in the contest to see whose site can use the most bandwidth in a month. The top 50 members get their sites removed and earn big bucks for us by having their traffic redirected to our porn ads!"
 
Like everybody sais, AVOID web1000.

For a simular free hosting, try fateback.com.

Oh, this is rich...Everyone is saying don't transfer to web1000 and someone goes right ahead and does it...then wonders where her email is...Great thread...ROTFLMAO
 
they ----ing suck, i had 2 sites with them, one kinda illegal with copy writed xxx pictures and the other one totaly private site with photos of some people i know... and today they suspended them both, its alright if they killed my "kinda illegal" site but what the ---- is their problem with personal sites???

They SUcK they will remove your page with no reason and will leave you wondering "why?"

haha, i am sorry but i amma call you kinda stupid. You transferred your domain from section5.net, just so you can have a lot of popups later. I suggest you move back, but thats up to you.
 
Stop mocking the person X-istence. People are free to leave as they please. Could have told us they intended to move away though, rather than having us sort through all those dead accounts this weekend...
 
Pretty much what everyone has said in this thread is true. They don't really block Asian traffic (though for some strange reason, they say they do), but they definitely delete sites/pages in order to make money off the porn 404 pages. Avoid them at all costs. There are better ones in the Host FAQ. :)
 
1) They suck.
2) The server is down quite often actually.
3) The porn ads.
4) There are better services out there... try f2g.net, f2o.org or sidez.net.
