Of those 3, Lord of the Rings for sure.
Of course i loved the books as a kid, and yes they were "better" but the movies still kicked ---. I only have a few minor beefs.

Cant stand Harry Potter.
I never read the books, but i didnt like the movies. They were too childish for me.

I liked Narnia as a book when i was a kid, but i didnt think much of the movie, seemed to childish like Potter.
