What is Page eCPM ? Does it mean anything?

I've read it off google, but I am unsure if it servers any purpose when you get a 1k hits or anything like that. Does it or no? Is it just a statistic?

It is just a statistic indicating approximately how much your page or site makes per 1k impressions. The better your CTR or earnings per click the higher your eCPM will be.

Exactly, it means Effective Cost Per M (roman numeral for 1,000)

You aren't actually paid for impressions, just the clicks, as whrebates said it's a judement based on past results how much you stand to make for every 1,000 visitors.

however, if you become targetted, eCPM will earn even without clicks.
