I'm looking for the same, even without sql.
But every host with these features has annoying ads (lycos) or do not accept sites in other language then english.

That's even worse, that opens the host up to all kinds of spam complaints.

But some hosts allow it, and some webmasters (like me) want it just for small mailing list, action/email scripts...

why not just use a emailing list provider...I can reffer you to a good one: http://www.yourmailinglistprovider.com I use that one myself.

if you are desperate, signup at netfirms.com then use perl and save your database on plain text file... they do have sendmail anyway...

don't take me bad but its only an alternative...

I know that tripod supports sendmail. But he allows to send only mails to only 150 recipients/day. That's really small number.
