Hi everyone.

Recently the owner of Host Alpha has gone somewhere for family reasons.


He has left me in charge until he gets back (no body knows when).

I am a noob when it comes to most things dedicated.

I was just wondering if someone could possibly tell me what this error means lol?

Bind reloading on alpha1 using rndc zone: [hostalpha.net] Error reloading bind on alpha1: rndc: connect failed: connection refused

I know its something to do with the BIND server (i think) but could someone please tell me how to fix it.

If i have posted this in the wrong area, sorry... and mods , please move it

Login to SSH of the box and execute the following command:

/scripts/fixndc

that should do it for you
