I am looking for a free PHP and MySQL host. I would prefer not to have ads but a banner would be ok. PLEASE DO NOT RECOMMEND HOST.SK OR L33T.CA THANKS.

That's not the reason they are bad...There are pathetic for far worse reasons. They do offer PHP, I think, don't they? I know they don't have MySQL, but that's understandable. Most hosts don't have it.

Things like PHP4U and Chili ASP (although I don't want ASP thats a good example). I just don't want that stuff, I want the proper PHP releases.

Arggh, DigitalRice has gone down. Otherwise I would have signed up and got a MySQL host else where. Anyother suggestions?

Check the link for more information, but be warned I haven't updated the pages in while because my current host (jaha.dk) has banned me from using their FTP and Hosting because I am not Danish. They have a Danish only policy in place now overthere and thats what has sent me on the neverending hunt for a server again.

I need it because as I said above my current provider is now useless.

The account must not exceed 100MB of transfer each month.
100MB = 10,000 web site hits at 10KB each.

Portlands badwidth limit is a tad restrictive. Thats why I said not to recommend L33t.ca because their bandwidth is 100MB a month.
