Hi,

I have already registered my domain name, and I am looking for a good webhost that can offer the most for the best price. What I am looking for are hosts that are below $2 USD and have good features.

I need:

- PHP & MySQL (As many as you can offer)
- Good chunk of space (Not overkill like 1GB, maybe 40-100MB is sufficient)
- Bandwitdth around 400MB-600MB per month
- FTP accounts (As many as you can offer)
- Good support (Important, as I have discovered, not many companies don't actually offer the support that they promised, you know who you are)
- No file size limit

We use something other than paypal, we use 2checkout.com.

Unless I've been misinformed, Chilinsoft ASP has major differences from microsoft ASP.
 
Actually, Chillisoft ASP is very similar to MS ASP, and can handle nearly all the same commands. The downside is Chillisoft ASP is VERY expensive.

Anyway, we offer Apache ASP (I said above :)), which does have major differences from MS ASP.

Hi,

Thank you for all of your replies. I've narrowed down my choices to:

- Onehost.ws : At $0.90 a month with 1000MB space and 2GB bandwidth with unlimited SQL and unlimited FTP, that's a price no one can beat. Do seem a little too cheap though.

- Chronic hosting: Good bang for the buck. I have heard a lot of good stories about them.

- Empire hosting: Seem pretty reliable

- Prime plans: Never heard of this one before. But offer good prices.

Anybody got any comments on the 4 above or willing to suggest any new ones? I've got a whole month to pick a host and I wanna choose carefully.

I must admit, Prime Plans does have a very attrative site, kudos to the creator of the design/owner. How ever I as well have not heard much about them
 
Yep, they do seem pretty new. I can hardly find a topic on them on these forums. Anyway, I have to do more research on the other forums. If I can't find any bad stories about onehost, I might have to go for them. It's prices no one can seem to beat.
