Unicode Problem

Hey
Have a look at my page. As you can see, some of the language names have a ? in them.
I've set the page charset as utf-8 and set the mysql field collation to be uni_unicode, yet still no sucess.
Can I simply just type the text into the database, or must it be in a different format?

can you post some of the stuff from the database that turns out like that on the screen ???
