They are upgrading their DNS servers at the moment, but I think they'll allow DNS sometime in the future again.

Websites that already had DNS configuring before the site crashed last time still works, such as my website (click signature).

Yup i need one too and for free as uni.cc keeps going down a lot.

If you want free domains that require nameservers go to http://www.feefreedomains.org.uk . These domains are Ctld .com.ru; .net.ru or org.ru.
