Trying to set up remote command line prompt for my laptop

Hi.

Because i've not had much to do lately, i thought i would try and setup my laptop so that i can connect to it remotely using putty or telnet.
I downloaded and installed open ssh for windows, and made the group&password db files correctly?.
However, when i type net start opensshd, it tried to start, sits there for a bit and then says that it could not be started.
System error 1067, the prosess terminated unexpectedly.
Has anyone set something like this up before and if so, do they kno why this is not working?
Thanks for any help in advance,

BEN-MR

it's possible that you have another cygwin layer on your machine somewhere, search cygwin1.dll to see, then copy the newest one to the bin dir of open ssh...for more information look @ C:\installdir\var\log\OpenSSHd.log, where installdir is the location of the ssh folders and files....

gd luck
