transfer of namezero names

I tried to transfer the domain to namecheap, everything seemed to go fine. but it still hasn't been updated on the whois (been a week). I also went to the nameZero page and it said i had to update the who-is first and it was in the control panel. Well it wasn't there, I called them up and they said go to nsi.com. My password and login didnt work there at all. So no i'm waiting for it to send my "lost" password through the #$%# namezero system.
update:
i got the email and is directs me to a spot to do my challenge phrase so i can get a new password. here's the kicker, i never had one set up. So i just got off the phone with mr. clueles. and he said i had to get a fax and send it off. Sounds like totalnic to me. Are they going to loose my fax?
