Hey
Looking at my stats i have found thousands of forums all from china (Yes all of them!) and also theyre all using Discuz 5.0
Anyway these dudes from china are getting our requests off FWS( I have proof they are using our smilies) and then put a identical post on theyre forum and take credit for the site. Im now having problems with other sites as they are blocking people from outisde china. Theres a whole bunch of guys doing this and they even put danethicalservices.com on it look
http://www.18601.com/thread-18601-1-1.html
and look at my one
http://www.18601.com/thread-22345-1-1.html
thats why like 50% of my members cant speak english :devious2:

I understand you'rew worried by other forum memebers being blocked, sut still that sounds pretty jingo. Do you have copyright for smiles?
And I have also seen so many natives making mistakes that sometines it's even difficult to judge...

4uhost.info

Search for 4uhost.info in google..A WHOLE load of chinese or japanse forums are saying its theirs.Theres nothing we can rele do about it unless we can speak cinese:eek2:

Well the general scheme I see on going related to this topic is that someone
from China or the surrounding area will signup for a hosting account with you
and then after successfully signing up for hosting will go post a copy of your
entire hosting signup page and details for how to signup elsewhere on
asian boards translated to their native language and telling everyone how
to signup and then their signup page clone posts to your signup scripts.

We implemented a number of measures at Cybertoad Networks to prevent
exactly this sort of thing and other hosts might want to do some of the
same sort of things:

1. We don't allow any signup form other than those hosted on our own site
to access any of our application system form scripts so duplicating our
HTML signup page on a translated site elsewhere won't do you any good.

2. We require a signup code which is provided as a graphics image and the
signup code changes location in our site every time it is viewed and the
instructions for finding it are in English embedded on a dynamic image.
The code itself is only valid for the IP it was issued ad can only be used
with 1 single hosting application and is automatically cancelled.

3. We use a series of proxy detection technologies and prohibit users to use
proxies when applying for web hosting as well as our own technology we
invented that lets us see the real IP address of anyone connecting
irregardless of any proxy server used.

4. We limit automatic processing to only those 60 to 80 countries
officially listed as English speaking or a significant portion of the
population as English speaking. Any applications from outside those
areas gets held for manual review by a live administrator and does
not get any automatic processing.

Just a few items that the other hosts out there worried about this
might want to look at implementing themselves.

Regarding the "Discuz 5.0" comment from the earlier poster, we just simply banned
the use of "Discuz" software on our network and any account attempting to upload
that particular application is instantly terminated.

.

This also what happned in Arabic forums the explain the way that you can signup with images and maybe in some sites how to remove ads such as lycos and incohost.

What's wrong with chinese users distributing hosting info?
Becuase usually the people who speak chinese or arabic cant read the terms and conditions and you end up with ddos attacks and porn and warez all over your hosting :(
