Traceroutes, anyone?

Well, I just ran a traceroute for many websites that I can't seem to access, like TK domains and Geocities. For the sites that are blocked by China, it seems that the IP packets are lost at "CHINANET"...

Well, I also ran one for Netfirms, and it says that IP packets are stopping in network "209.29.122.0" (not Chinanet!) between hops 19 and 20. Any ideas on what this could mean (or how I could find out more info)? Thanks! :D

The actual site does, but the trace route timed out, I will try it again. :confused:

Ah...it looks like the Chinese government has been behind the blocking of individual Netfirms websites, as well. I tested a site hosted on Netfirms (creativehomeezine.netfirms.com) and discovered that packets are being lost at ChinaNET. :confused2
 
Netfirms, like quite a few hosts actually, apparently deny all ping and tracert requests.
