Note that this is not cpanel hosting .
And you are not allowed to use 100 gigabytes of space .
It's shared by all and anyone over-using resources might be suspended .
But as long as you use this sensibly , you can gain a lot from their services .
Pretty fast servers too .

SwiftRack will be back online soon they are doing an update switching server to cpanel and migrating accounts, as well as doing server hardware and virtualization software upgrades
 
Hello my name is Dustin, i work for Management of SwiftRack Networks. Our web hosting is PAID Normally, however we are running a promotion based on our acceptable use policy (AUP) giving out free web hosting (paid product) for a small period of time and accounts. Please read our forum explaining how we can offer such large amounts of space in our acceptable use policy before you post here clearing off possible new users.

I am not trying to be rude and i understand our site was down when you replied to this due to the upgrade to the new cPanel control panel and a hardware upgrade including RAID10 5TB Space for more room for our hosting users (note that we are paying over $250/month for Quad Servers to keep this site online) and we constantly upgrade software and hardware to keep all users happy and all hosting accounts active.

Lastly we will be back online in about 1-2 hours as the cpanel install is almost finished, and all accounts will be restored from our full account backup from MySQL databases to domains and email accounts.

And to the above poster: aloycasmir
It is cpanel hosting now as we have changed panels from user request, and you can use your full 1TB however like said in AUP if we get alot of users and server gets near full limit (6TB space used) which is very unlikely we will suspend accounts using 200% more then the average account or the accounts using the highest transfer and storage unless they opt to either pay for service, make posts in forum, or use small google advertisements in their site. This makes everyone happy and the normal users will never be affected by this

I was under the impression you were part of swiftrack - why did you say they?.

Whoa whoa whoa!! You are saying that people can use their allotted 1TB of space, UNLESS other people get cramped on the server? Then you say you will suspend accounts that use 200% more then the average account unless they go paid? So basically you are NOT giving the person what the offer states.

Secondly, by doing that you are contradicting you advertisers post:

Mainly because you are not giving people the full amount as stated above.

If you are going to offer 1TB of space and transfer, you should be giving that to them period. To reneg for those sites that are popular is ludicrous when they are not receiving what was told to them.

Our Policies explain everything, If our servers do become full then we will suspend accounts that are using 200% or more then average usage, until another server is activated, unless they would like to make temporary arrangements for another way to pay for it until server additions are made (usually 1 week maximum) and then we will have enough space and transfer to accomodate the user. We do not oversell space we use an acceptable usage policy, and 99% of the time users can use the full limit. Right now any user could use their full alloted 1TB and it would not affect another user. As we get larger companies do need to profit so we ask that the larger sites with alot of traffic use our advertisements temporarly to help pay for another server, we provide professional class hosting at a free rate. Who could ask for more? Thank you for choosing SwiftRack networks :)
 
You arent getting it are you?

You are giving people 1TB space and transfer for free. Now when you overload/OVERSELL your server, you then tell those people that they will be suspended or have to pay for the free service you offered them. This is true, by your explanations, for any and every site that goes over 200% of the average site, not just for those that use what you give them.

How then can you claim to remotely give people what you state for free, only to suspend or force them to pay, since you oversell (which you claim you dont do)

Thats false advertisement.
 
Overselling

We do not oversell because when we reach 70% of storage limit we add more RAID storage space. If any other resource limits are high we add another node to our network / cluster.

The only time accounts will be suspended is if they are the highest usage account on the entire network and it will only be temporarily until a new node is configured.
