Also, if you could look at the Announcement "Read Before Posting" and tell me if it's too restrictive or harsh would be great help.

We just see everyone using the same ole white background, and are trying to be a little different.

Do you have any feedback as to what colors might look better?
or any idea's to improve our forums?

All I can say is use a lighter background. But that's just my opinion.

The three forums that I post on all have a light colour scheme, makes it so much easier on my eyes.
 
Like we said we did not wan't the white (just like everyone else)..

But we have changed from the blue... ;) Give it a shot now..

It's still pretty dark for me (but again, that's just me) but I understand how you don't want the normal white like many forums. Good luck though. :)
 
Well we are not doing white.. nor pink/yellow/orange.. so i guess we can not please everyone.. ;)
 
just a suggestion

awhy dont you make the message board tables white/very light purple and the page background dark purple?

or still to plain?

Thanks, yea We have been trying to really customize them, and
have so much work to do... But we only open(started on) the site last week..

As for the speeds, well once it gets busy (we hope), it should still
be as fast, we love our host (GetMeHosted.com) who is connected to multi OC-192's.. Our sites/email have never been down.. :)
