Stealth Mode?

Anyone know how to make stealth mode work correctly with mydomain.com? See, I have nevermore.net.ru set up to go to my amzweb.net account. But when I add a link oh say, index2.html, to the page it would take me to http://amzweb.net/~will/index2.html instead of nevermore.net.ru/index2.html. I seen someone who had used mydomain.com with stealth mode and it worked the way I had wanted but It will not work for me!

You do realize that is a technical support question for
AMZ Web Hosting, right? Why not simply go and submit
a support ticket?

For your information, what you are trying to do won't
work unless we put in on override in the system to allow
for it which is usually not a problem in most cases for
the redirect. To arbitrarily go and try to do it yourself
will not work.

Going and asking around here like you did in this
thread also will do you no good because what you are
asking about is something that only an AMZ Web Hosting
administrators can setup.

However, this "stealth" mode you speak of will never
work at all. That is going to get caught by security every
time and get overridden with your real address! There are
other methods to do what you want to do though
and we can certainly show you how to do that and setup
the site setting on your account to be more accomodating.

Just submit a support ticket on our ticket system at:
http://www.amzweb.net/support.php

BY THE WAY ... AS A SIDE RELATED NOTE .... YOU DO KNOW
THAT WE FULLY SUPPORT FREE DOMAIN HOSTING AND DNS
MANAGEMENT LIKE MYDOMAIN.COM, RIGHT?

Yes, Amz, I do. But I was going to do this for something other than my amzweb.net account.. *shrugs*

http://nevermore.net.ru/ goes to http://nevermore.host.sk
That doesn't really matter actually because we can still
probably help.

With AMZ's DNS service, you can actually set this up right
on your control panel and I'd bet it's probably easier to
setup than doing it from your registrar.

Most people don't know it but we are also a DNS service
like zoneedit.com, etc. and have all the features that are
sometimes optional extras at domain registrars such as
stealth mode redirects, frame based redirects, and email
forwarding.

Just a note, you don't even have to have a web hosting
account at AMZ to utilize it's DNS service.
