Hello, there are 5 of us who started a php+mysql project called Xess. We need a host with PHP+MySQL. If you host us for free or a discount price we will say you are our sponsor. I don't want to spill the beans on the project but let me tell you that we won't need more than 50 megs of space and a gig of bandwith.

Well, since you say it's a php/mysql project, have you tried http://sourceforge.net?

They do provide free hosting for open source projects.

yes, thats how we all met, sourceforge is not good with webprojects. half the members don't evenk know what CVS is. I tried their web host but they only offer one mysql db, and no ftp. And we need ftp to make this thing.

Its easier that way. But from the looks of it, i think we will be stuck using sourceforge

Hey rock,

I posted some info in another post that you seemed interested in. This had to do with hosts that excepted money orders.

As far as free sponsored hosting goes, if you strongly feel that you cannot afford any of our hosting package (www.presage-designs.com/hosting2.php) let me know and I'll see what I can do.
