I want to know if I should have my rounter on forever or I should turn it off every night when I go to sleep?

Not sure if you got this answered, but routers are built to remain on. However, like a computer, a router will have memory built up and at times could use a fresh restart (not reset).

ya, mine has been on for something like two years now. My second router has been on for about 6 months and my hub as been on for about 3 years..

The only time they go off is either if they melt, or if the power goes off and comes back on.
