It is a one time requirement, not monthly.

* All Beginers Hosting account holders must have atleast 5% activity on the forums.
* All Advanced Hosting account holders must have atleast 10% activity on the forums.

The current activity activity requirement is as given at http://www.smokyhosts.com/compare.php (and as i have quoted above).

You can acheive 100% activity in the forums if you make atleast 2 posts everyday for 30 days. Also, please note, that it is not the same as making 60 posts on one day and then dissapearing from the forums for the remaining 29 days.

Now based on the above theory, you may calculate how many posts you need to maintain an activity level of 5%, 10% and/or 15% in the forums.
 
thanks alot ... i've using SH for a year now and i can say.. it is really good but the only problem is that people are not active in the forum donno why !?

Yes, currently we have suspended the free domain names in exchange of posts offer. But you can still get free .com domain names by participating in our referral contest
