Setting Up DNS Server

I've been looking around for a while, but I cant seem to find any good noobie guides / HOW-T)'s / walkthroughs on how to setup the BIND DNS server. I am using the version of BIND which comes with Slackware 10 and all I need it to do is resolve a single domain name and a few sub domains. I am by far not a newbie to linux, but I am new to the concept of DNS and anything in-depth with networking.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly apreciated.

I don't know any guides, but if you want I can share some of my config files with you, and answer any questions you have. BIND isn't hard to setup at all once you've done it a couple of times.

Yea, that'd be great. All I've got for IMing is MSN though.
