Stay Away From Servage !!!
SERVAGE will DELETE or SUSPEND any acount that have some traffic or use some of the storage space. they DO NOT have 110GB for each user that buy that space. SERVAGE is a hox and one of the WORST companies i have ever done business with.
SERVAGE deleted approx 70GB of my MP3 material, and claimed it was illegal. why? because they "had reason to belive so". all material was bought and paid by me - and they wanted the receipts!!!
so, with their head stuck up their ---, the will now be dued by my german lawyers. not because of the money, but because of the way the are acting. i will take this company to the cleaners and sue for damages and compensation - and then some

hmmm..... 110GB space, 1110GB Bandwidth. Would you use up that much space and bandwidth? I dont think so!
So take my advice and go with a host that offers a nice 2-5 GB space, 30-50 GB bandwidth because you probally only need that much.
But if you need 110GB Space and 1110GB bandwidth, my advice would be to go with a dedicated server or find a host that offers this much, but at a reasonable price.

I was with servage for a year (the account is still there, but my friend uses it now), and the speed and uptime has been excellent. The support was alright. They were nice, but they seemed sort of clueless to me as their answers were always so vague.
As for suspending your accounts when you reach 10% or 20% (whatever), I dunno. I had a lot of songs and video files on there with people downloading them, but the account is still there. So, eh, no comment. :/

I'm just wondering what kinds of scripts people who were suspended for using "too many resources" were running. I know that there are a lot of crappy scripts out these days that will bring a server to its knees because of the poor design, but did anyone get in trouble while running a solid script like VBulletin?
I have read a few bad reviews on these guys,
that price is just a very light legal scam
Its called overselling and if you ever used that much space they would find a reason to remove you as a client!:beer:
The best thing you can do for your site and visitors is get a plan of only what you need off one of these guys here and pay the same
What companys like this rely on is people like you to buy there bullcrap plans and not use what you dam well paid for!

I have been with servage for 2 years now, 3 months ago i started a reseller account with them, over a 2 month period i slowly moved my 7 sites from my original account to my reseller account, original account was deactivated 2 days ago.
so yes, 2 years, happy with them for what i paid, not as good as a Cpanel host but i wrote a few scripts to backup and few other things so was all good. Yes, speed was like a 512kb connection (i have 6.4mb connection) but thats ok... ftp would timeout often, but i put up with it.
so far i sound like you could drive a car over me and i'd applogise to you.....
So what would make search for servage disputes on google?
Why create an account on this site just to say the above?

Those baboons that run servage have announced the reseller as being 'discontinued' with no set date and to add, no customer support will respond to questions as of this time.
Where does this leave me.. now 8 sites, using only a few gb of bandwidth a month and maybe 200mb storage. If these fools think I will give them my NEW card details, they are more naive than I first thought! even more naive than i was when i signed up with them!!!

Servage is bad...
FTP Speed is maxed out at 50kbps so don't plan on uploading much to the webspace because it will take forever and it will often time out.
They say they have very high speeds but when I contacted them about the FTP issue, they simply said that there's nothing wrong on their side. Sure, blame it on the customer. How come I can upload at 200kbps to other servers?
I made a huge mistake becoming a reseller for them because after the first month. They had a lot of downtime that month because of their optic fibers being cut. Their control panels were very inconvenient. Their reseller control panel do not update. It's been showing the same balance for weeks. With the reseller account, a customer wanted to copy their files to their second account so I asked the customer support to do it but they said they won't do it because too many people ask them to do it. What kind of attitude is that? Very unprofessional tech support.
Downloads would also time out if a lot of users were downloading simultaneously. Their bandwidth is measured daily and not monthly. So basically you have 37GB of bandwidth per day. Highest I've reached was 27GB.
The only pros to this host were that the MySQL and PHPMyAdmin were updated.
After the Servage nightmare:
So now I switched over to Netfirms since they had a deal for $10 a year and they aren't that great either. Outdated PHPMyadmin and mySQL. Decent space/bandwidth, probably overselling too. I had to report to tech support about their SSH because it wasn't working. It just didn't allow me to run any MySQL commands from SSH. But $10 for 2 free domains with access to DNS settings and other options = worth it. for now...Might run into future problems

They do an overselling are undoubtable, it could easy to find on this IP address, take a look at this :
I just want to share my experience with them, hope another member will not be a next victims of their terrible service and hungry for your money :cry2:
they're lots domain with the same IP adds..I just wonder since I found one of the site has the same IP adds with hundred sites and that hosted on 'em :devious2:

Bob, traffic and hits are diffrent things. What hits have to do with traffic a generate?
My website is lyrics website with albums catalogue which links to external sites with legal mp3 downloads.
The question is : Can you make exeption and not suspend account every day? Acording to your info, you gus have "powerfull cluster" systems. So the hits ammount doesnot need to be issue.
I already found another hoster which have no limits for hits, so if your answer is "no", I supose I'll move my domains from your hosting soon.

You suspend my account almost every day because of this. You hit system does not works properly. On some pages I have 10 same images which have to be calculated like 1 hit . Instead it calculate it as 10 hits.
I am afraid that I am going to look for diffrent hosting provider.

Please note that each Servage account is allowed upto 400,000 hits per day. This is a generic mail send to the owners to notify him that he is nearing the hit count limit for the day. This mail is sent so that the webmaster is aware of the issue and so that he can take necessary measures and the website never gets tripped off. You will need not worry about the mail unless your account exceeds the hit count limit.

My website lyricstemple.com and all subdomains are not longer available few days. As far I can see some path problem on your side. Please fix it ASAP.
Before you suspend account you have to look closer to the files and to the website. There is no mp3s available for download onthe website lyrictemple.com or any of subdomains but only cd catalogue with links to third patry payble cd shops ( i work as affiliate for them )
I expect reopening of the account and you appologies ASAP.

Hello,
My website lyricstemple.com and all subdomains are not longer available few days. As far I can see some path problem on your side. Please fix it ASAP.
Before you suspend account you have to look closer to the files and to the website. There is no mp3s available for download onthe website lyrictemple.com or any of subdomains but only cd catalogue with links to third patry payble cd shops ( i work as affiliate for them )
I expect reopening of the account and you appologies ASAP.
