[Review] Logo just made for a men's ezine

I just made this logo: http://www.nerdyweb.com/logo2.jpg for the men's ezine i'm working on

What do you guys think? I was messing around in photoshop with a bunch of tools, made a big X and cut some holes in it.

it's quite nice, although simple, i don't know the level of simplicity you want, so, it's good....

Looks too much like the logo associated with "genuine leather goods" if you ask me.

Should of clarified what i meant by logo, since there are tons of interpretations.

When i say logo, i mean the part of what people normally call logo's main feature, i then add text, and graphics if needed.

Not sure yet, haven't worked on it at all since last night, i'm working more on the layout.
