ram for Dedicated Server

I don't really know much about server for Dedicated Server with 512 MB of ram is good or too slow ? what speed can download with 512 MB of ram ?

It all depends on exactly what your doing with your server. 256-512 is plenty for an average web server. But as you state downloading, if your plan on hosting many files, and have a heavy BW load of downloads than more memory might be your friend.

Not many of our customer using up to 1TB traffic what kind of files are you distributing? Do you have permission to distribute them?

anyway, 1GB ram should be better. And if it's mainly for downloading, I would go with scsi hd as well, not only ram

P3 is a very good CPU. Between Dual P3 733 with scsi box and P4 2.4 with ide, I will go with P3
