If they mean what I think this is one of the suckiest things I've seen. This is the host that used to have talking pr0n banners. I had forgotten I had an account until a notification about their new ad free service hit my inbox. Bleh. :devious2:

Maybe a Chinese or Korean member could try to access their site and see what ad company they are using for their 404 errors.

There is one affiliate site that I know of http://Found404.com it would be interesting to see if that country exclusion is legal in their ad revenue :rolleyes:

I once thought about signing up for them, but I found out that they want to be a p0rn host! No thanks, I'm not hosting my site on a server that also hosts this type of content!
 
I wouldn't clasify the info posted on that page as racist, just offensive. He said he feels that chinese and korean traffic are "useless", which depending on the ads he intends to run can be true. It's just that he could have worded that a lot more tastefully.
 
BS! Not hosting sites in one language or another is one thing but deny access from certain countries? Sucks, sucks, sucks.

Redirecting them to pop-up paradise and make money on them sucks even more. :fork:

I agree it's offensive and discriminatory, but I would stop short of calling it racist. It's business after all. If certain traffic is making them money, even if the people are racist, they would still eat that traffic up with a spoon.

I agree, that sounds terrible. Besides, what exactly does "Like Corean and Chinese" means...? Which other countries are included in that "like"...?

I can understand a host blocking them, but to use them to make money is both discriminatory and racist. Ad companies will often not accept these countries either, so how do they get away with it?

I would still like to hear from a Chinese member to see whose ads they are serving. It might just be reportable :devious2:

Why? I tell it's a porn site. That's more than what they do. They redirect all page not found to that site and the like.
 
Ha! Those idiots...I'm accessing your site without any problems. But if they did have 404 pages, we could get their connection shut down. :devious2:
 
It's funny. If I make a typo in the url to their site I get a normal error page. If I type maysite/"#¤% I get pron hell. :confused:

Keep trying. I got the note earlier today. Maybe they haven't got it set up yet. :devious2:

I dissagree there, they directed that insult to all of the people of korea and china, calling them "useless".

Thats racisim in my book...
