Question about RAID5

First off I shall explain our situation:

We have a server with 4x 1TB SATA Hard drives.
They are all on an Intel RAID5 Array.

Just the other day we have been having issues with one of the hard drives playing up so we have taken it out for now. Our plan is to replace each hard drive with a 1.5tb as each of the 1tb disks faill. If we replace the failed 1tb drive with a 1.5tb drive, will it use the full 1.5tb capacity or just 1TB.

It will use the full disks, because they are clones of each other, but if your backup is using 1TB max, it obviously can't clone them properly over all disks because it's not big enough. If you're going to replace them all with 1.5TB, do it in one go instead of per-disk basis.
