I don't know if there's ever been a thread like this one around here, but I thought it was worth a try anyway.

Post a screen shot of your desktop as it is right now.

I guess we haven't had one of these for a while... mine still isn't very exciting though.

Notice how I did absolutely nothing to the default desktop and mine looks a billionthousand times better than everyones'. Macs rock.

It's just a matter of an opinion really. Personally I dislike glossy look of Mac desktops. I prefer minimalistic interfaces myself.

eh..? Mac's are minimalistic.. in every way.

Ooh, all you peeps are making me want to get a bigger screen.. or two of 'dem.

u usin vista or is that a theme, I just couldn't stick it the last time I installed it...drivers weren't too available....
