www.webmonkey.com has some stuff
get the mauals for them from www.php.net and www.mysql.com they are useful reference works but a bit dry for learning. depends what other languages you already know.
I like the o'riely books but I've not read a php one of theirs except for a chapter in webmaster in a nutshell which is enough to get you started. I recommend just getting it set up working on you local pc and playing about.
