My roommate's computer is giving us fits... It keeps changing his home page to "Enjoy Search" (www.enjoysearch.info) and adding porn links to his history on the left. Plus, he seems to get an exorbinate amount of pop-ups on sites that I don't get pop-ups on. We've run SpyBot and several others on there and they don't find anything, but we're convinced there has to be something hidden somewhere on his system causing this. Has anyone had this problem with particular site?

Curious about this, but is there an "internet law" that can be imposed on these jerks who change your home page et al? Would contacting their host help? Something really needs to be done as it is becoming more prevalent daily :angry2:

Actually, yesterday my father contacted his own ISP after such a hijack took place on his computer.
My brother installed some sort of questionable file-sharing software from what I gather, that in turn install spyware that hijacked Internet Explorer.
It wouldn't have been such a deal if the homepage wasn't set as a message saying "Pedo Alert! -- follow the below links to clear your history" .. or something along those lines.
It was an ad for a history-cleaning application, but disturbing nonetheless.

Also AdAware is very useful in catching these kinds of pests that find their way onto our systems...

Not in this case.
AdAware looks right past it.
I removed the 'hijack' myself more or less and finished tings off with HiJackThis.
