NS Ip address

i got a doubt, while created nameserver, is it good to create both the NS on the same IP address.
for eg:
n1.ggl.com & n2.ggl.com having identical Ip address.

Does it do any harm?

Not really suggested... it's the same as having one NS only.

No idea if it does any harm or is it even allowed, but I would say this does nothing to help at all.

Why do you have only 1 ip?

No it's not a good idea, and much better to have the located at different geographical locations.

well as both ips are on the same server anyway it dont make any differnce but it looks gay
And it dont help with things like dnsreport.com

And as per some random RFC, ideally you should have your NS at 2 different locations.
