I've tried to sign up @ http://www.liquid2k.com/ but it says error connecting to database.

I cant belive it, finally, a decent host wont work.

u dont know about now but liquid2k used to be a very good host. i used to use them and they were pretty fast and had very little downtime.

Not only can you not sign up, you can't access the file manager --- and they do not reply to your emails. It's like they closed their doors and went home, only forgot to turn their server off.
Try going to their 'Contact' page. You get: "This page, file, or picture was hi-jacked, or you just can't type.
Either way it's not here!"

You have to have Flash enabled for the main page to load properly. They are also undergoing some sort of server changes or something and they have had a lot of downtime lately.

Maybe they're too busy running thier pay hosting which offers support. Many hosts offer you free hosting with the understanding that no support is available.
