Search engines can’t index addresses with ?
And both Cutenews and Wordpress have ? in their addresses

I recommend cutenews. It's a very good news script, but it's a flatfile so I'm not sure if you want that.

1. Donot use PHPNuke. It sucks, is too compliacted and is unsecure.
2. Wordpress is very SE friendly. Now SE can easily index pages with ? in them. FWS pages are dynamic with ? and are surely indexed.

Well I did a quick search for "news" and once past all the ones you have to pay for (yellow ones), there were many.
Cute News has been mentioned, try that maybe. Pick one to suit the site and have a fiddle.

It is a popular thing to do, so I'm sure there is lots written about it, so a quick google search wouldn't go a miss...
