Hello,

Welcome to my first post :)
I am about to launched my adult link dump site and needed a reliable VPS host with good support...

I dont know much about vps coz I haven't tried it yet...
Basically my script needs a php.

I can only afford 15 dollars/m for the mean time and hope my site grows and can pay higher.
An admin panel should be included...

I read some forum replies like "you need to raise your budget" and I also read about too good to be true offers :)

I'm planning to launch my site by Monday.

You don't really need a VPS for that, especially if you don't even know what a VPS really is all about. You could run your PHP script from a shared hosting option for only a few dollars per month. Don't fall for the VPS marketing gimmic when you don't really need it.

I am also agree with you. @fbook18, shared hosting is fine for your site.

VPS is not recommended since you do not have the experience to manage it. Also a reliable VPS with cPanel will be over your budget. For best security and performance, shared hosting would be better for you.

I posted this thread yesterday and not approved automatically so I got time to sign up for a vps at VPSFuze.com

Well I just quit with them because of their poor support.

My problem is:
I changed the default password of kloxo to the password I am always using to other account so there is no way I can forget it. I try to sign in again after an hr but I cant able to log in, also tried the "forgot password" feature.

I understand that I signed up for an unmanaged plan but it seems that newbies like me are not welcomed to their site base on their reply:

They are asking me to search for a solution on kloxo forum...

But for me signing up for a new server to another company is a better solution.
Before I sign up, I talk to their chat support and they are singing a very good tune.
And now I'm having second thoughts on purchasing any cheap priced offers.

But again I am willing to give chance to other companies who can offer basic support such as password reset.

My expected visitors online at the same time is 300-500, can a shared hosting handle that?
I am also embedding(not hosted) about 200 videos on my site.
Also I have a small widget (2kb) for webmasters to embed into their site.
A rss feed reader of my embedded videos .
Visitors who click any items will redirect to a certain video page on my site.

Please give me your thoughts, thank you in advance!

The resources to handle a site your asking for would be limited and we could offer you a quality VPS within your budget quite easily. The issue is your looking for an "admin panel" by which I assume you mean "cPanel." We are willing to discuss a free option but on a lower resource VPS it is likely most of your resources will be used by that panel alone.

As a few other folks have suggested I would also take a look at some shared hosting options if not for the sole reason to simply have a free admin panel.

A quality shared host within your $15 budget will be able to provide more resources than a vps. Shared hosting will also include cPanel control panel at no additional fee.

I agree with this. I will not post shared plans here because you specifically asked for a VPS, but I feel you would be better on a quality shared plan. If you're interested, we can set you up with something.

I signed up for a shared business plan at hostgator. I actually can spend more for a quality vps from my pocket but I feel better if I spend money from the income generated from the site :)

But I still want to buy a vps after I fully launched my site.
Need to practice on handling a vps or maybe hire a tutor online.
