Last week we started a new free web hosting program where instead of posting of placing ads on the site members could obtain free hosting by placing a link we give to the member to put in their signatures on other forums.
We found it a perfect compromise to the burden on the hostee for post2host and advert hosting, and unrealistic no posting, no ads style of hosting which has no benefit to the host. The hosting program is instant and easy to do and has many benefits to the host as well.
The way it is setup is that you will get free hosting as long as our link(s) remain up in your signature(s). The amount of space/bandwidth you would receive would depend on the number of total posts you have with the forum account.
We also have a feature to the program where you can add together your total post count by combining the post counts of several different forum accounts, by placing our link in each of them.
You would also have the option to put more than one link on your forum account and double the amount total posts you have from that account. (i.e. Let's say you had a forum account with 100 posts and you placed two links in your sig you would have a total post count of two hundred. And if you decided to put one link in another forum account on a different forum where you had 85 posts your total post count would be 285)
We have some temporary hosting plans for our program, but we would like to have some feedback from the freewebspace.net community on what hosting plans (based on total post count) we should implement that are both attractive and realistic.
