Need help with a expired domain

Hi Guyz,

I registered with powerpipe.com and without notifying me in advance that
the domain would expiry, there have not added my domain to the expiry list
but are making money from it. It's total bullshit, can any of you's advice me on
what to do.

There want me to pay an extra $25 to get my domain back. This is the second time there have done it, the first time I tought it was my fault but this time I see that these bast**ds ripped me off.

Please help me guys.

Thanks,

Vinod

powerpipe.com is a reseller of enom. I would contact Enom and see if they can help you out.

If the domain expired, why not just go somewhere else and register it?

Hi Robert,

I can not register elsewhere as there have locked the domain
and are using it as a search engine thing (like redirect page) and
are making money from my domain.

It's totally unfair, I emailed both enom & powerpipe but have not received
a reply.

Thanks,

Vinod

well what they are doing isnt illegal so theres nothing you can do. they will keep the domains that were registered with them that get traffic and they use those pages to make extra cash. you should have chosen someone reliable like namecheap.com and not been a cheapass and found the cheapest. you got what you deserved. even though it was a bit mean. you will now have to pay the $25 or just find another domain and not host it with them

Hi,

I didn't know about namecheap.com and didn't have too
much knowledge about domains n so forth. So without
knowledge I thought it was the best option. I registered
a second domain with namecheap, I liked it allot but, never
got the chance to transfer from powerpipe to namecheap.

Could you guys tell me, how long will there use my domain
name before releasing it or unlocking it.

Also, if I have no other option and do pay the extra $25
to get the domain back, can I immediately transfer to
namecheap.com.

Thanks,

Vinod
