managed wordpress hosting

Need help! I'm at my wits'ends...

I'm looking for a free webhost for my site, but having a lot of trouble finding one ....

I've tried so many but always get one problem or another.
-with T35.com: my site is non-english contents site , not allowed
(stating so in their tos)
-with lunar: message pop up (they wouldn't let me sign up because of my email.address which happens to be hotmail ???)
-with 69megs.com: I've a jar.file , cannot upload
-other hosts: don't allow jpg images which I have lots.....
-space : my site is already 20MB so I need more to allow my site
to grow in the future.
-host: no ads (will be great) but otherwise limited ads will do or
anything but not too bulky since I realise that asking no
for no ads is a bit much
Oh, by the way , my site use frames.

Anyone with suggestion, please??:cry2:
 
But I can't afford

Because I've developed this site purely for fun (I only entered the net not long ago) and have recently learned html to build my site. I'm not looking to pay anything , well... not at this stage anyway.
 
Well, 9CY offers only 100 mb now, not 999 mb, and they don't have ads, the last time I checked. Internations also appears to not enforce their required textlink. As for Spancity, don't believe you'll get 999 mb space - it's more like 50 mb, and they block a lot of file types (for example, they don't even allow .js files).
 
Internations.net does not put a text link to their site, but they do put Casino Text links all over your page and it covers up some of it.

I would not recommend them.

OH No!!!

I've just tried to sign up with 9cy.com and guessed what.... just by looking at the info required to join up with them has completely freeked me out . Well, I have to keep looking.... If you guys have anyone else in mind, I would appreciate a yell OK .

I bet you never heard of faking your info. Thats what I do to all hosts...
 
Faking your info doesn't always work. There are hosts that actually check to see if it is correct (Crosswinds is one of these).

To the person who's asking, try out 100free.com or f2g.net (if you don't mind 100mb transfer/mo)

I hope that helps, if I can do more please tell me. :D

Exactly - stop making fun of somebody just because they don't know as much as you think you do.

TTT already stated that he/she has only just started with the net, and HTML, and yet you make fun of people who don't know every single detail. Everyone has to learn - just because you think you know a lot doesn't mean you have to pick at people who don't.

Hmm....

Well, guys... since I last posted my messages up, I stayed with the 69megs.com and although I'm glad to have seen my site up and running (with no ads too!!) but... what really disappointed me is that my images coming up sooooo ... slow (like for ages:mad: ). Just wonder if it would go any faster if I scale down my images? Otherwise any visitors come to my site will go in a flaaash.... May be I should try 100.free com like FaithBowie has suggested.

And to answer +Chips, I am in Sydney. As for my site's content, it is to do with Vietnamese traditional opera (mainly pixs. about the artists).
 
Just thinking...

I've just thought about something, since I'm not sure, then better check it out with you....

Because I use frames, does it mean that I would be much better with a host that has pop-up ads than a host with banners ads?? I' m afraid that top banners will cover up all of my upper frames. It's a bit embarrassing to say this .... :eek: but banner, is it just like the one on top of this screen (freewebspace.net)??
